Who Really Won Last Night?
This may seem like a simple question when you look at the numbers, but I wanted to look a little deeper. I’m actually not trying to spin anything or do a Hillary and redefine the definition of a win. I simply wants to look at what 49% really means in the state of my favorite NBA team, Indiana.
I want to begin by referencing a post on the LoomisNews Blog titled “Why do you think it’s called the White House” which I believe offers a good background into some of the political history of Indiana. I believe this is relevant, because it shows how special 49% truly is and the tremendous advances the people of Indiana has made in terms of race and politics. “It’s not where you start, it’s where you’re heading” (Al Sharpton).
Although Hillary won 51% of the votes in Indiana, I believe that the gains made by Barack in this state. A state like my own (TN) and others continues to lead the way in reconciling the misdeeds of its past. 49% is less that 51%, but for someone like Barack Obama to win this percentage of votes is a victory. A victory in terms of bridging the gaps in our minds of our differences.

Like I said yesterday, I have so much that I want to say about this. The most constructive way I can answer this ridiculous and frankly unpatriotic campaign by Rush comes from the Holy Bible, specifically in John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Now I’m sure some Rush fan will have something to say about that, but I’m only quoting the words uttered by Jesus Christ. Take your disagreements up with him. He works with his Father, his contact information is in The Book.
