My Revised Democratic Vice-Presidential Candidates Short List
I really don’t see why some Hillary supporters are suggesting an ultimatum to Barack to offer the #2 spot to Hillary or I’m not voting for you. It’s like your family or friends telling you who you should marry or they won’t come to the wedding.
Hillary Clinton has run a good campaign, but she didn’t expect any real opposition. I believe that she use Republican-Like tactics against her fellow Democrats, and in my opinion I think that’s the reason why she wouldn’t be offered the position.
Unfortunately I believe that she could be offered the position for multiple reasons. What’s unfortunate is not that she’s being considered, but how she is being considered. Suggesting an ultimatum to pick Hillary as vice-president is unfair to Hillary and Barack.
What ever happened to the content of their character?
Although I disapprove of her tactics during this campaign, I don’t dislike the person. When you look at both candidates policies they are very similar. So why do we hear of some Hillary supporters making threaten gestures of not voting for Barack for this reason or that reason. I believe the real reason is one they would be ashamed of if it was publicly known.
Now before some immediately think that I’m only suggesting race, let me say that I personally know of Blacks who are Hillary supporters and would not vote for Obama. So it’s not just one segment of her supporters.
If Hillary becomes the Vice-Presidential Nominee for the Democrats I would disagree with the decision, but render equal support for her as I give Barack. If Hillary becomes the Vice-Presidential Nominee for the Democrats I would disagree with the decision if it was forced upon Barack to make it or forfeit the support of her supporters. I believe that Hillary wouldn’t want that.
Select Hillary as Vice-President because of her credentials she claims, not because of the undemocratic suggestions of some of her supporters. I voted for Gore, although I didn’t trust Joe Lieberman.
Now I’ve said that, here’s a revised list of individuals I believe would make the VP Short List. Some were mentioned on my previous entry titled “My VP Shortlist (Obama Edition) “, but you can add these to that list.
