Hopefully, this is my next-to-last post that reference Hillary Clinton.

If every vote counts why isn’t the caucus states included?

Under Democratic rules, each vote is not tallied at caucuses. The caucuses serve only to award delegates to go to a state convention (which then elects the national delegates). The results from caucus states reflect the number of convention delegates to the state convention won by each candidate.

So while Hillary Clinton touts that she has past Obama in the popular vote, and Barack can say that more people in more states favored Obama than Clinton. What really matters is the new “magic” number of 2118 total delegates.

We have many good arguments that can be waged on this topic, but what really matters is beating John McCain in the fall.

My question for Hillary supporters is will this prevent you for voting for the Democratic Nominee in the fall? Would Hillary vote for John McCain? I would hope your answer is NO. Don’t let this issue or any other bias prevent you from voting for the Democrat in November.

My question for my fellow Obama supporters is will this prevent you for voting for the Democratic Nominee in the fall? Would Barack vote for John McCain? The answer is HELL To The NO. Don’t let this issue or any other bias prevent you from voting for the Democrat in November.

We agree that the only way we will win is by working together to defeat John McCain and his republican friends. Hillary can’t do it alone and Barack can’t do it alone, but we can do it together. McCain/Bush will play dirty and like we can easily remember in 2000 will do whatever to get hold on to what power they have left. We all are living the consequences of their policies and I believe that you don’t want anymore of that.

So regardless how things are likely to pan out this evening in this last contest, tomorrow lets get ready for battle with the GOP.

Democratic Delegate Count as of 06/02/08

The Democratic Party’s official rules do not use the term “superdelegate.” This is an informal name for about 20% of all delegates, whose status as delegates is independent of primary and caucus results and who are officially unpledged to any candidate. About half of the superdelegates are current Democratic elected officials — Governors, U.S. Senators and Representatives. The other half consists of other party leaders.
