You have to be concerned about people who would do or say anything for media attention. Since the town-hall meeting isn’t doing the trick. Blaming high gas prices on Barack isn’t working. He critized Obama’s “16 month timeline” that the Iraqi Prime Minister seems to support. Neither is dropping in on a former Republican president. So just what can John McCain do to draw attention away from his showy Democratic rival?

Yesterday the McCain Campaign tossed a bone to that big dog called the media. The media sniffed it, but appears not to be interested in McCain’s teaser that they may be announcing a running mate, but it won’t be today.

I heard that McCain is giving everyone a shiny new nickel too.

Even the Bush Energy Department has said that McCain political buzzword for the day “Offshore Drilling” production would not start until 2017 and have no “significant” effect on prices or supplies until 2030.

New York Times scripts McCain’s ridiculous commercial called “Pump”. How John McCain can realistically place blame on Obama for the outrageous gas prices is a small step for creativity and one giant leap for ridiculous.

I guess some people will do anything for attention, good or bad.

The yahoos who will believe this commercial wasn’t going to vote for Obama anyway, not because McCain’s ridiculous claims of this commercial, but for reasons crazier than this ad.

Check this blog out, it’s very good. “McCain just can’t get a break“.

Phil Gramm may be on to something. Instead of a Nation of Whinners, maybe it should be directed towards his own party as the GOP as a Party of Whinners. But that’s just a preview.
