Purpose

This is the section where I attempt to explain myself and why I even care to express my thoughts, ideas & suggestions.

Well I decided to do this because of my belief that everyone has the right to express themselves. Everyone is important and should be heard. Therefore I decided to share my thoughts, ideas and suggestions about issues, news, events, statements and positions I felt comfortable or intriguing enough to discuss.

I strive to keep an open mind about the topic, often I enlighten myself in conversations with others offering a different perspective and experiences.

My goal is not to blame or hold any ill will towards those who may disagree with my position, but to offer an alternate perspective. We all come to our own conclusions based off of our own experiences and knowledge.

I welcome you to comment and share your thoughts, ideas and suggestions, but ask that you remain courteous and respectful.

Me

I see myself as a regular guy trying to fit into and help create a “beloved community”. My attempts to utilize this space to create a dialogue in hopes that it encourages others to strive towards what life ought to be.

Throughout this blog I try to reveal a little more of who I am each day so that you can create your own image of who I am. You may see a 30 something married Black dude who adores his son and hopes for a daughter someday on the outside, but it takes time to learn the depth of what’s inside.
