Who’s the Real Domestic Terrorists?

In Clearwater, FL arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000 there for Sarah Palin. (Good thing they were not on a Greyhound Bus demonstrating against segregation in Interstate Travel. Lord only knows what would have happen with this crowd.)

At that rally Sarah Palin went on to blame Katie Couric’s questions for her “less than successful interview” with kinda mainstream media. (How many Newspapers you read? Come on now. I’ve seen the interview and Couric was holding back.)

McCain/Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One McCain/Palin Supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, “Sit down, boy.”

The definition of a terrorist is someone who terrorizes or frightens others. So as you are listening to Sarah Palin’s remarks about palling around with terrorist, I ask what are you doing. Isn’t what she’s accusing Barack of is what essentially you’re doing?

Since it’s always an excuse, what’s your excuse this time?

This is not the first, second or even fifth time this has happen with White Republicans during this election season. I want to know how you can honestly answer for the obvious racial hatred that is bubbling to the surface in the Republican Party.

I’ve personally pointed this out numerous times and I can’t get one honest White Republican McCain Supporter to respond. Why is that?

You continue to recite things that have been easily proven to be false so many times I’ve lost count.

Just say it. Set your conscience free and be honest. You know you’re thinking it, just be true to yourself and true to the Republican Party you love so much and be who you are. Stop living in fear behind public perception and what’s socially acceptable. You may be surprised. If it was socially acceptable for this guy to say what he said to a network sound man why can’t you do the same? Stand behind your words.

I’ll actually have more respect for you if you do, because you would have shown the courage to be honest with yourself and others. Come out behind the closet or from under the sheet.

Perhaps this will be the seen at your next rally, because that is where it’s heading if McCain/Palin continue their rhetoric.

And you wonder why there were only 36 Black delegates at the Republican National Convention this year.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friendsMLK
