Q: Are you smarter than a Conservative Radio Talk Show Host?
A: If you can recognize the State Flag of Ohio, then you are smarter than Bob Grant.
You have to love them even when they don’t know what they’re talking about. My parents told me not to make fun of people. They never said that I couldn’t correct them.
Is your neighborhood conservative radio talk show host smarter than a 5th grader?
Judging by the recent comments of Conservative Radio Talk Show Host Bob Grant the answer is NO.
Apparently Bob Grant was searching for something to criticize when he asserted that Barack Obama created an “O” flag, when the “O” in question represented the “O” in the state flag of OHIO.
Um Bob, HE WAS IN TOLEDO, OHIO.
This is what Bob Grant had to say:
“What is that flag that Obama’s been standing in front of that looks like an American flag, but instead of having the field of 50 stars representing the 50 states, there’s a circle?
Is the circle the ‘O’ for Obama?
Is that what it is?
Did you notice Obama is not content with just having several American flags, plain old American flags with the 50 states represented by 50 stars?
He has the ‘O’ flag. And that’s what that ‘O’ is. That’s what that ‘O’ is. Just like he did with the plane he was using. He had the flag painted over, and the ‘O’ for Obama. Now, these are symptom — these things are symptomatic of a person who would like to be a potentate — a dictator.”
Of course the Republican mice will follow the melodic tunes that any Conservative Radio Talk Show host chooses to play. Well for once a Right-Winged Blogger Michelle Malking reports something accurate in what is known as the state flag of Ohio.
Just to offer a bit of flag history – Ohio adopted its state flag in 1902. The large blue triangle represents Ohio’s hills and valleys, and the stripes represents roads and waterways.
The 13 starts grouped about the circle represent the original states of the union; the 4 stars added to the peak of the triangle symbolize that Ohio was the 17th state admitted to the union.
The white circle with its red center not only represents the “O” in Ohio, but also suggests Ohio’s famous nickname, “The Buckeye State”.
Obama has nothing to do with it, but that’s a good idea. I’ll try to create an Obama flag for you Bob.
Now I know you all are getting nervous about the election. John McCain is running an unusual campaign. Barack Obama scares you because he’s not a White Male Republican. If you just tried to consider broadening your social and cultural horizons you wouldn’t live in fear so much.
Since your candidate is talking about associations, let’s talk about your associations. How can you continue to associate yourself with someone who is on record of such racist and outrageous comments from wanting President Clinton to contract AIDS to referring to Black Christians as Savages. This is who you’re listening too? I’m surprised that Black Conservatives haven’t denounced this idiot.
