“Obama thinks he is a good talker, but he is often undisciplined when he speaks. He needs to understand that as President, his words will be scrutinized and will have impact whether he intends it or not. In this regard, President Bush is an excellent model; Obama should take a lesson from his example. Bush never gets sloppy when he is speaking publicly. He chooses his words with care and precision, which is why his style sometimes seems halting. In the eight years he has been President, it is remarkable how few gaffes or verbal blunders he has committed. If Obama doesn’t raise his standards, he will exceed Bush’s total before he is inaugurated.”
Please forgive my initial response to this one.
WHAT THE HELL?
ARE YOU SERIOUS? Have you listened to George W. Bush for the last eight (8) years?
Porky The Pig and Daffy Duck speaks better than George W. Bush. You have the nerve to suggest that President-Elect Barack Obama should be “gaffe-free” and speak with the eloquence of George W. Bush.
OK, where’s the camera, because someone is getting punk’d.
You got to be kidding me.
Now I know that some Republicans are still upset, but bitter or even delusional enough to make this type of statement is ridiculous. I would love to hear any Republican or Democrat give a speech on race in Philadelphia. I would love to hear any Republican or Democrat to inspire a positive worldwide reaction when they speak.
Mr. John Hinderaker you are out of your mind.
But I want to know what you think.
