Michael Eric Dyson discusses issues or race in his lecture entitled, “No Dreams Deferred?: Black Aspirations from Martin Luther King Jr. to Jay-Z.” Following the speech, Professor Dyson took questions from students, faculty, staff and invited guests.
Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson is a renowned scholar and cultural critic on issues of race, religion, popular culture, and contemporary issues in the African American community.
I strongly suggest everyone who is against the events and perversions that will go on Saturday of the 1963 March on Washington by Glenn Beck to take the time to watch & listen to this lecture before Saturday. Dr. Michael Eric Dyson is just one person who has had a great influence on how I write and analysis style on many of the issues I frequently write about.
There’s really no need for me to give time or credibility to those who are essentially about nothing and will listen to nothing. I say let them do what they do and allow time & history to judge their actions and intentions. I’m done with them. Here’s the Link: http://explore.georgetown.edu/news/?ID=37117 Alternative Link: http://fora.tv/2008/10/01/Michael_Eric_Dyson_No_Dreams_Deferred
