COEXIST: Heartsong Church & Memphis Islamic Center

What I find interesting is how those who speak against Islam and calling it radical fail to consider those who has used Christianity to progress an agenda of hate. I can think of a three letter organization and individuals that claimed to be Christian who burned churches down, because it was attended by people who were not of their same race.

Let me not start on the ignorance some still believe to this day about the curse of Ham and how they equate that to Blacks. Or even those who believe they are the only church. The extent of what people do not understand is simply amazing.

We only need to look at the vast majority of churches at 11 o’clock on any given Sunday to see the extent of hate by people who calls themselves Christians. So to condemn others is just like the pastor said in this interview “The pot calling the kettle Black“.

1 Peter 3:8-11
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

I would say that if you could see beyond yourself, maybe you’ll be able to see others.

  1. Only through love, tolerance and understanding can peace be achieved. Those that choose not to follow this blue print shall perish, pure and simple.

  2. I saw David Gergen on CNN suggest that the site of the Ground Zero be redone into a Official Multi-Cultural Center.
I know the plan for part of the planned Mosque, But I think this is something that might get more backing.
