Inspired by Genesis 19:1-29
Sometimes you just need to shut up and do what you're supposed to do and not what you want to do. Stop looking back and start moving forward. Sometimes there's nothing left for you to do but leave.
Let what it is be what it is. Stop trying to impose your will onto what God has already set into motion. We can not save everyone, even when we want them to be saved. Salvation is a choice we make for ourselves not for others. Stop trying to make the decision for them unless you want the decision to be made for you.
It's not always going to be easy to let God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, but who are we to stand in the way?
Reminiscing over what was only distracts us from what it is and what will be. Lot's wife did what many of us foolishly do, reminisced. When we are longing for what was we Waste our time. Your present situation may not be what you wished it was, but have enough faith to go towards what it will be. Sometimes that means you've got to leave all you know and start over again elsewhere.
If you read the entire chapter (Genesis 19) this becomes abundantly clear because even those you want to go with you can't go where it's destined for you to be.
Many things can destroy where you came from, the relationships that brought you there and allowed you to stick around, but don't be afraid to go. Keep looking forward. Stop looking back for what is and will no longer be. God has something, someone, someplace better for you.
To bloom where you're planted sometimes mean you need to be repotted for your roots to expand and flourish. Stop allowing dogmas, traditions, perceptions and people cause you to miss your destiny. Keep moving forward.
